This cotton quilt exudes the feeling of summer. It is hand block printed with a floral design inspired by peonies, dahlias and passionflowers which sits upon a bright yellow base. This quilt is reversible, and is made from cotton voile with a cotton filling.

Who made this?
These items are made in a small family run factory based in Jaipur. The factory works only in traditional block printing techniques, using a hand carved wooden printing blocks, they then apply dyes to a pad which they dip the block into, the process is slow because the colour is built up, layer by layer using a different block for each colour. The people who do the block printing are highly skilled, they are professionals in this field of work and have an excellent eye for detail and an accurate hand.
