Delivery

 

Here at Ian Snow we know how important it is for you to receive your purchase quickly and hassle-free, therefore we aim to dispatch all orders as soon as possible. Most of our deliveries will require a signature upon receipt, so please specify an address where someone will be available during normal office hours to sign for the parcel. If you have any special requirements or need anymore information regarding a delivery, please contact our Sales Team:

Standard UK Delivery £5.45/Free standard delivery on orders over £100 (excluding furniture & large mirror delivery)
Despatch times are usually within 3-7 working days of placing your order, although at busy times this may be longer. We will send you an email once your order has been dispatched. Please note some areas we may have to charge more for, such as Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey 
Next Day Delivery £6.95 Next Day*

Orders placed before 3pm Monday - Thursday will be delivered the next day. 

Orders placed after 3pm on Thursday will be delivered on Monday. 

Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday. 

Orders placed over the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday.

*Please note: Next Day Delivery may be unavailable to the following locations. Furthermore, standard deliveries may take up to two working days longer:

Deliveries Outside The UK

Please note, international orders may be subject to additional duty and import charges on arrival to the destination country. The USA are now charging tariffs for all orders, these will have to be paid before you can receive your goods. 

Once we have sent the item we will not be liable to pay any customs charges incurred. 

Whilst we have tried our upmost to ensure that our shipping charges are accurate online, there may be times that the shipping costs are higher than we have quoted for due to the weight of the parcel. In this instance, we reserve the right to cancel the order if not enough monies have been paid, but prior to doing so, we will get in touch to let you know the cost and give you the choice to pay extra to cover the actual shipping cost.

If you are returning larger goods from outside the UK or the fees aren't paid and this gets returned to us, you will be responsible to pay for any charges incurred in getting the goods back to us. 

Lastly, if you would like to place an order, and your country isn't on the drop-down list, please contact sales@iansnow.com with your address and the order details, we can then get a personalised quote for you.

Domestic Distribution deliver our furniture orders and offer either a one-man or two-man delivery service depending on the weight of the item. They will carry each item into the room of your choice. While every effort will be made to put the item into your room of choice, they are not obliged to move anything to a place that they deem could put themselves at risk (i.e upstairs). When the furniture is delivered the courier team will ask if you would like this unwrapped, please always choose this option to check the furniture has arrived safely. If there are any problems please inform us straight away so we can deal with this appropriately.

Domestic Distribution will be in touch with you to arrange a convenient delivery day once your order has been placed.

Terms & Conditions

  • Prices above are for mainland UK. If your address is outside of mainland UK and the cost of sending is significantly higher than the price paid, we may not be able to proceed with the order unless more postage is paid. In instances where this occurs, we will get in touch to discuss suitable options.
  • To delay dispatch of your order, we need to be notified within 24 hours of the order being placed.
  • Saturday deliveries are charged at an additional £20 on top of the standard charge.
  • Domestic Distribution will charge storage fee’s if 5 offered delivery dates are turned down. We will need to pass the storage charges onto you in this scenario.
  • There will be a re-delivery charge if a confirmed delivery date is cancelled with under 48 hours notice.
  • There will be a re-delivery charge if a scheduled delivery is missed, (thus failed). The re-delivery charge is the same as the original delivery charge.
  • Please be sure to measure all access points when ordering furniture to ensure that the item will fit through doors and any narrow areas. Refused furniture deliveries will incur a charge the same as the original delivery charge

Non Arrival

 

If goods are lost in transit please let us know promptly. We will either send out the order again or offer you a full refund including delivery charges.

 

Returns

You may return any unused goods in their original packaging within 28 days of the date of delivery. It is your responsibility to take care of the products and ensure they are packaged and returned to us safely and in a saleable condition. Our return address is Ian Snow Ltd, Hill Farm, Huntshaw, Torrington, EX38 7HQ. Please note, we are also unable to refund the original shipping amount paid to send the order. 

Returns are at the customers expense, except in instances where an item arrives damaged or incorrect. In these instances please notify us within 48 hours. You can contact us by email sales@iansnow.com or telephone on 01271858649 and if possible please include photos.

Please note: Returning larger items eg furniture, from UK mainland addresses will incur at least a £60.00 delivery cost charge per item, depending on the weight. If you are returning larger goods from outside the UK you will be responsible to pay for any charges incurred in getting the goods back to us.
