Our 'Very Brave' wooden sign is one of our more unusual pieces of fairground memorabilia. This heavy block was positioned at the very back of the The Steam Yachts of long established Carter's Steam Fair. The back of yachts was where it was scariest, and so this sign commended the bravery of those seated there!
This sign shows signs or wear, age and use - but we think it all just adds to its vintage aesthetic.
