This hand-woven rug is cleverly conceived in recycled materials and is a beautiful contrast of lacy white and structural denim. The white is achieved via the traditional skill of hand screen-printing and the denim is recycled strips that are plaited with jute string and hand-sewn. Denim is one of the world's oldest fabrics, yet it remains eternally young and versatile. Textures and tones of denim make it ideal for industrial style interiors as it complements that hard-working look, as well as softens it. Whether it is used as a decorative detail or en mass, frayed or well-finished, we say it's time to double up on denim.
