Blue Sanganeri Circle Design Cotton Throw
This large and traditional cotton throw is an Ian Snow Ltd staple upon which the foundations of the business were built. Today it is still one of our best sellers and is available in three attractive colour ways, blue, red and maroon. This is the maroon version with a rich palette like an incandescent evening sky. The popular Sanganeri design is so named after the town of Sanganer, sixteen miles south of the city of Jaipur in northern India. Sanganer is famous for its hand-block printed textiles and paper. As tradition dictates, this throw is also hand-block printed, but with guaranteed azo-free dyes. The key benefit of this is the removal of a carcinogenic metallic component, which when not removed can create a textile-induced chemical sensitivity, or worse. Not all Sanganeri textiles can claim this. Being cotton, this enduring throw is versatile and will serve just as beautifully as a bedcover as it will a wall hanging. It is indeed timeless.
