The Project; Let’s Keep the Conversation Going
This is an anti-racism project, where artists sent in artwork to be made into a cushion which channelled anti-racism messaging, through art. It was ran as a competition in hope to raise funds for anti-racism charities, and charities supporting Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups of people. We have done this project to try to keep the conversation going, there is so much systemic change that needs to happen; we need to keep questioning, keep learning and keep fighting for equality.

This cushion is made by a talented machine embroidery technician in Moradabad, using 100% plastic free threads, base fabrics and zips. The factory in which they are made provides reliable employment and opportunities for their employees and their families. We have worked with the factory for about 20 years and know the owners of this fantastic small business, and their employees well.
