Greetings cards are quite often bought as after-thoughts and come from a mass-produced origin. They usually end up in the bin as the foil, glitter, ribbons and additions that many of them come with with are non-recyclable. Cards made of paper with natural ingredients are not only recyclable, but so pretty they can be re-used for art work or recycled into a new card once they are past their shelf life. This lovely concertina card is handmade from natural paper and the thread is easily removed if destined for the recycling. Alternatively, cut off and keep the sunflowers with the beaded strings at each end to make a couple of handy bookmarks.
